The Holy Order: Inner and Outer – Redemption from the Nigredo of Confusion
In the dark night of the soul, where all false images shatter, true transformation begins. The madness of equality has plunged us deep into the Nigredo – into the blackness of confusion and desecrated polarity. Yet precisely where the darkness is thickest, the promise of turning back to the symbolic Father in Heaven shines forth. Here Anima and Animus, inner and outer, man and woman find their sacred union in Christ.
The Origin of the Modern Madness of Equality
The modern madness of equality has its deep origin in the envy of woman – not as mere moral failing, but as an archetypal cry of the soul. Born from a noble striving for justice, this madness has not expanded the archetypal order but broken it. It promised freedom, yet it created a vacuum in the soul. Where once woman was honored and untouchable in her own domain – as Queen of the Inner – she now feels excluded, indeed punished, in every space reserved exclusively for men.
The mere thought of a male domain – whether a monastic circle of radical asceticism, a stern warrior brotherhood of the spirit, or even a quiet space of fathers – triggers in many modern women a profound unease: “Why am I kept away? What have I done wrong?”
The Cry of the Unintegrated Animus
This feeling is no accident. It is the cry of the unintegrated Animus. When the masculine within a woman is not consciously accepted and nurtured – as Logos, as the power of discrimination, as courage for confrontation – she seeks it desperately outside herself. Every space reserved for men becomes a screen for projection: “There is something being withheld from me.” Exclusion turns into symbolic punishment because the soul senses that her own masculine part is starving.
Instead of grasping the sharp blade of truth, discipline, and paradox within her own inner being, she demands entry into foreign domains – and suffers only new emptiness.
The Original Order of Creation
Woman protects the Inner.
Man protects the Outer.
This is the divine law, engraved in body, soul, and Holy Scripture. Woman is guardian of the Hidden: the space of the heart, the body as first temple of life, the nurturing silence in which the divine Word becomes flesh. Man is guardian of the Visible: he draws the boundary against chaos, stands in the storm, sacrifices himself so that the Holy may breathe within.
In the blessed family with mother and father this polarity lives as a living temple: she weaves the inner bonds together, he shields the outer. Both unite in fruitful complementarity – as Mary keeps the Word in her heart and Joseph rises in the night to save the Child and the Mother.
The True Path to Wholeness
The true path to wholeness is different. The woman who integrates her Animus no longer needs to storm male spaces to feel complete. She carries the sword within herself. And the man who honors his Anima will no longer flee from the Feminine, but will protect and nourish it as sacred counterpart in marriage, in family, in love for the Bride of Christ.
Healthy families with mother and father are the living temple of this union: here the Masculine and Feminine are not blended into unrecognizability, but led to fullness in fruitful polarity.
The Turn: Courageous Return to the Divine Order
The madness of equality has cast us into the Nigredo – into the blackness of confusion – yet precisely therein lies the promise of transformation. Courageous turning back means: honoring the domains again, without absolutizing them. It means granting men spaces of hard truth without this being interpreted as an attack on woman. It means encouraging women to awaken their inner Animus – not through intrusion, but through deep inner vision, through prayer, through asceticism, through encounter with the symbolic Father in Heaven.
The Promise of Redemption
Whoever walks this path discovers the Divine anew: love as union, not as leveling. The beauty of differences, the truth of polarity, the good of order. No more punishment, but redemption. No eternal exclusion, but the joy of being fully at home in one’s own sex – and yet finding the Perfect in the Other.
Rise up, sons and daughters of the Light.
The time of confusion draws to its close.
The time of rediscovering the Divine begins – in the heart, in the home, in the family.
There, where Inner and Outer unite in Christ, shine forth beauty, truth, and goodness.
There dwells love as completeness.
There is the new life – courageous, optimistic, eternal.
