Are Men Bewitched and Women Ridden by the Devil? The Unconscious Rules Us!

Are Men Bewitched and Women Ridden by the Devil? In the depths of the human heart, where the earthly touches the heavenly, a divine drama unfolds: the archetypal dynamic of Anima and Animus. These forces are living symbols of Creation. The feminine – the Anima – embodies the irrational and the unconscious: the flowing source of intuition, emotion, mystery, and receptive love. The masculine – the Animus – stands for the rational and the conscious: the clear structure of reason, Logos, decisiveness, and ordering wisdom.

The Eternal Mystery of the Soul

Through this assignment the dynamics of the soul become visible like a heavenly sacrament: The conscious, rational Animus acts as guide, illuminating and shaping the unconscious of the Anima – just as the symbolic Father in Heaven brings His creative order into chaos. In turn, the irrational Anima nourishes the Animus with living depth, with that beauty and goodness which mere logic can never grasp. In this sacred tension there is no war, but the invitation to union.

The Broken Bridge to the Unconscious – Are Men Bewitched and Women Ridden by the Devil?

The greatest misfortune of our time is the breaking of the bridge to the unconscious. Modern man has destroyed the connection to the deep, irrational layers of the soul through rationalism, materialism, and spiritual pride. Without this living bridge, the Anima can no longer be properly nourished and integrated, and the Animus loses its soul depth and divine anchoring.

When the bridge to the unconscious is broken, something terrible happens: The women are ridden by the devil and the men are bewitched, castrated eunuchs. The natural order of the soul is reversed, and the demonic distortion appears openly.

When the Anima Rules in the Man – The Bewitched, Castrated Eunuch

Without the bridge to the unconscious, the man loses the ability to meet and lead his Anima in a healthy way. The Anima takes dominion and transforms the man into a bewitched, castrated eunuch. He loses his rational leadership, his clear decisiveness, and his courageous, fatherly responsibility.

Instead of acting as a conscious, ordering man, he is ruled by unconscious moods, emotional fluctuations, and irrational impulses. He becomes soft, wavering, mood-dependent, incapable of clear truth, moral steadfastness, and creative action. The castrated soul of the man is the sad image of our time: men who can no longer be fathers, no longer leaders, no longer protectors – only bewitched shadows of themselves, trapped in the fog of the unconscious they can no longer master.

When the Animus Rules in the Woman – The Woman Ridden by the Devil

Equally destructive is the broken access to the unconscious in the woman. Without the nurturing, irrational depth of the Anima, the Animus within her becomes hard, detached, and demonic. The woman loses her receptive, nurturing, intuitive beauty and is ruled by a cold, accusatory, ideological Animus.

She becomes hard, rationalistic, aggressive, and possessed by the lust to judge, to destroy, and to re-educate. In Christian symbolism this resembles the state of being “ridden by the devil”: The rational Animus, detached from the loving Anima and without the bridge to the divine unconscious, opens the gate for the spirit of accusation, division, and lies. The woman is then no longer the bride and mother of life, but a combative Amazon who strikes out with a sharp tongue and merciless ideology.

The Collective Bewitchment of Our Time – The Collective Madness of Wokeness

Exactly this double catastrophe we see today on the collective level with terrifying clarity: men as bewitched, castrated eunuchs and women as ideologues ridden by the devil.

The softened, leaderless men and the hard, accusatory women together generate Wokeness – that unholy alliance of irrational feeling-morality (victim cult, identity as pure feeling) and destructive, cold rationalism (Cancel Culture, dogmatic leveling, merciless power logic).

Yet Wokeness is only a symptom. In truth it is a collective madness, because the unconscious no longer nourishes us through the holy bridge but now rules over us. The collective unconscious, no longer illuminated by the rational Animus of the individual and no longer animated by the loving heart of the Anima, breaks over society like a dark flood and perverts the divine polarity of man and woman.

The True Conversion Can Never Come from the Collective

The true conversion can never come from the collective – it happens only in the individual. Only when the single person courageously descends into his own shadow world, becomes conscious of his repressed Anima and repressed Animus, and rebuilds the broken bridge to the unconscious in the encounter with Christ, can healing begin. The collective never leads; it is only transformed through the holy individuals who first turn to the symbolic Father in Heaven.

The Holy Union – The Only True Path to Redemption

True healing lies not in the dominion of one principle over the other, but in the restoration of the bridge to the unconscious and in the holy union of Anima and Animus. The irrational of the feminine is illuminated by the rational of the masculine; the conscious of the masculine is animated by the unconscious of the feminine.

This coniunctio oppositorum is the alchemical wedding in which the Nigredo of the soul passes into the light of resurrection. In Christian mysticism it is reflected in the Church as the Bride of Christ, where the rational Logos of the Son embraces the irrational depth of the soul. Whoever accomplishes this integration becomes whole: courageous in faith, optimistic in hope, carried by the love that dissolves all opposites in divine unity.

The Radiance into the Holy Family

This soul wholeness radiates directly into the earthly order – especially into the holy institution of the family with mother and father. The maternal Anima bestows warmth, intuition, and nurturing love; the paternal Animus gives structure, guidance, and rational responsibility.

Only in this polar unity, in which both principles are rightly ordered and the bridge to the unconscious is restored, do children thrive in truth, beauty, and morality. The destruction of the natural family is the direct consequence of collective bewitchment and possession. Whoever heals Anima and Animus within himself also strengthens the family as the foundation of society and as the school of divine love.

Call to the Rediscovery of Religion

Brothers and sisters, do not be deceived any longer: Wokeness is no progress, but only the visible symptom of a much deeper collective madness, because the unconscious rules us as soon as the bridge to it is broken. Many men are bewitched, castrated eunuchs; many women are ridden by the devil – yet the grace of God is greater than any darkness.

Conversion never proceeds from the collective, but only from the courageous individual who confronts his shadow world. Turn back to the Father in Heaven, rebuild the bridge to the unconscious in your own soul, integrate the holy polarity of Anima and Animus in the right order, and love will complete you.

The soul that lives this union shines like a light in the darkness – a living witness to the eternal order of Creation of God, in which man and woman find true wholeness.
